Anglo American dared to be different in the 70's when they created basic shapes but in a larger size than was common at the time. That daring streak continues as they still deliver quirky and fun designs for us to enjoy.

Since launching a store on Park Avenue in New York, Anglo American have never looked back having worldwide success. They have been a trend-setter of the heavy brow bar on frames as well as using fashionable colours and shapes that we may never have dared to try!

This daring streak was something that the one and only Dame Edna Everage, played by Barrie Humphries, embraced. Whether it be butterfly shaped frames or using Humphries' own ideas of 'curls' and 'flames', Anglo American along with costume designer Stephen Adnitt provided 'face furniture' worth talking about!

Now with similar frames to Curvebar and Sirmont and some of which being worn by Johnny Depp and Michael Cain CBE, there is a frame for the more refined of us!
