Our Out-of-Town Superstore near Ouseburn has a large car park for our customers to use when they come to visit us.

We are all well aware of the stress caused by trying to find parking in the city centre, not to mention the high cost of city centre parking, assuming you are lucky enough to find a parking space anywhere near to where you need to be.

The Big Optician Out-of-Town Superstore is situated only 2 minutes from the centre of Newcastle and only one minute from the Quayside. This spacious optical practice stands just over the Byker Bridge on the A187.

We specifically chose the location for The Big Optician optical superstore because of its accessibility, its on-site parking and its fantastic disabled access. We've designed the store to be on one level, creating a spacious hassle-free environment for the benefit of all of our clients.

The Big Optician Out-of-Town superstore offers unlimited parking and has a number of dedicated disabled parking bays which are quite literally at the door.

For people arriving by public transport, the following buses can be caught from near to Fenwicks on Blackett Street: 12; 39; 40; 62 and 63. The number 22 bus can be caught from Market Street. If you get off the bus at Morrison's supermarket, you can use the pedestrian crossings to get to The Big Optician in Stephen Street. We also are a short walk from the Byker Metro station, walking back towards the city centre along Shields Road.
