I have been a patient of Keith\'s from when he was director at The Eye Clinic, through his six years at The Big Optician. He shows an obvious passion for his work with great emphasis on patient care.

"I recently brought my 84 Year old mother to The Big Optician to have her eyes tested and for new spectacles. As she is infirm and not very mobile, I was looking for a venue that had primarily the following: ease of access and range of spectacles (from the point of view of price and choice). I made my decision to use The Big Optician via the web and then made the appointment.
I am not normally given to write testimonials but was so impressed I felt I had to share my experience.
Location is excellent, easy to find with great access. Just as I needed, parking was brilliant with only a few short steps into the store.
My mother was really well cared for by The Big Optician team, having the whole process of testing her eyes to choosing her spectacles clearly explained.
We particularly liked the clear pricing and the depth of range available. Whilst we were mainly looking for range and access, we were delighted to have the further benefits of care and value to add to the whole mix which made, what might have been a trying ordeal for an elderly woman, into a very pleasant experience indeed."

1. Their website grabbed my attention. More professional than any other in the area, and one that I really felt they had put the time and effort into to portray the level of dedication to their field.
2. They open when I need them to be, after the working hours and on weekends.
3. The friendly but professional approach that they say they provide, as well as my favourite brand, Tom Ford.
So after my first visit was I as impressed as I hoped? More so... The optician found out about my vision, what I did, how I could improve what I do in regards to my vision, and I got excellent feedback in terms of style and what was best for me, and thankfully... they helped me choose the Tom Fords!"

Really trendy place. Friendly welcoming staff and skilled opticians. Eye tests are the most thorough I have had anywhere and the prices (despite a lot of the frames being designer) are great.
Build quality on glasses are top notch as is the aftercare.
For me though the option of eye tests on a Sunday is a real bonus when you work all week"

I'm not one to leave reviews but I had to make an exception here. Fantastic from start to finish. I called up to make a booking, I was seen to straight away, thoroughly examined testing procedure by the optician and had my new glasses within a few days. I couldn't have asked for a smoother ride.
I have recommended friends since my visit on many occasions and they have all been really pleased.

"Superb service, superb people, superb people.
I've been taking my family to The Big Optician for many years and have never experienced anything but great care and service. Recently my son experienced a devastating car crash which left him with Neurological damage which affected his vision. When he was well enough to attend TBO they went through numerous tests, not just a sight test, took imagery and talked through what had happened to his vision at length, including what was needed to rectify his issues.
I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff."
